Here at Pleasant Pops, we are all about the seasons. Since we started in 2010 at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers' Market, we've focused on making our pops (and now our other items too) from fresh and local ingredients in season. As we sadly see the days getting shorter and the leaves starting to change color on the trees, we are excited to show off our new fall menu starting this week at our Adams Morgan shop.
We are bringing back our two all time best selling menu items:
1) our signature grilled cheese made with Cabot Creamery mild and sharp cheddar cheeses on DC's own Lyon Bakery sourdough break
2) our fall salad which was so popular last winter that it stayed on our winter menu as well: Roasted Butternut squash, Roasted Beets, housemade spiced pumpkin seeds served with blue cheese and a creamy peppercorn dressing on a bed of kale salad mix.
