Thanks to our Veterans

As fighting stopped in World War 1 at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, President Wilson declared November 11, 1919 as the first Veterans day. As we celebrate Veterans Day this year on Wednesday we want to take a second to thank all of our Veterans for their service.

Since we're in Washington, DC- we often overlook our monuments that we pass daily and the buses full of World War 2 veterans coming to DC on buses from their honor flights. But every day we interact at Pleasant Pops with employees' spouses on active duty, with many secret service agents who are veterans and with many of our customers who've served in all of the branches of the armed forces. Our downtown location and White House farmers' market stand are right by the headquarters of the Veteran's administration.

We would like to say thanks to all of our veterans that we know and those that we don't for their service to the United States.
